webadmin does not work on Firefox 17
It attempts to load and a popup appears:
"Your browser is not supported by the current DFC framework."

You cannot proceed any further. Same for Chrome (as of v23)

Officially, compatibility is:
"This browser is not supported: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) Presto/2.12.388 Version/12.11

The IBM Lotus Domino Web Administrator 8 currently works with the following browsers:

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x and 7.x (on Microsoft Windows platforms only)
Mozilla Navigator 1.4x and higher
Mozilla Firefox 1.0x, 1.5x and 2.0x"

This means that for webadmin we are stuck with Internet Explorer, Safari or v16 or lower of Firefox.

Note: webadmin does load on Safari, but a disclaimer in the UI states:
"Opera does not load at all - it displays the 'this browser is not supported message'
Disclaimer: Safari 3 is not officially supported, use at your own risk!"

For those who depend on Firefox and use automatic updates, I'd suggest using a portable version of Firefox. Version 16 of Firefox is available as a packaged portable download. You don't have to use a USB stick for portable apps - stick it in a directory on your machine. You cannot run different installations of Firefox at the same time (unless you use something like Sandboxie - http://www.sandboxie.com/) so you'd need to close v17 and then run portable firefox.

Would be great if IBM could update the DFC to improve compatibility.
